Who we are
S1 Tyres is an independent tyre specialist based in East London. We sell and fit new and part-worn tyres for cars, SUVs and vans, and we handle the jobs that go with them: wheel balancing, wheel alignment, puncture repairs, TPMS, brake pads, air conditioning re-gas, locking wheel nut removal and MOT bookings. Everything we do runs out of three branches, in Romford, Dagenham and Chadwell Heath, backed by a 24/7 mobile tyre service.

How we work
Straight answers, and the work done properly
Tyres are a grudge purchase for most people. Our job is to make the decision simple: show you the state of the tyre, explain the options at different prices, and fit what you choose properly.
- We show you the problem. Tread depth, uneven wear or sidewall damage, pointed out on your car rather than described over a counter.
- New or part-worn, your choice. We stock both and explain the trade-off honestly instead of pushing the dearer option.
- Budget to premium. Michelin, Continental, Goodyear, Bridgestone and Pirelli through to value brands like Davanti and Nexen.
- Balanced as standard. Every tyre is balanced before the car leaves, with new valves fitted where needed.
- Repair before replace. If a puncture can be safely repaired, we say so rather than selling a tyre you don't need.
- One visit where possible. Tyres, brakes, alignment and air con under one roof saves you a second trip.
- We come to you if needed. The 24/7 mobile service covers drivers who cannot get the car to a branch.

Every branch offers the same core services, so use whichever is closest to home or work.
New Tyre Fitting
Premium, mid-range and budget tyres in most car, SUV and van sizes, fitted, balanced and valve-checked before you drive away.
Part-Worn (Used) Tyres
Quality part-worn tyres for drivers on a budget. UK law requires at least 2mm of tread and a PART-WORN mark on every one.
Wheel Balancing
Stops the steering-wheel shake you feel at motorway speed and helps tyres wear evenly. Done as standard with every tyre we fit.
Wheel Alignment
Corrects tracking that has been knocked out by potholes or kerbs, so the car drives straight and tyres don't wear on one edge.
Locking Wheel Nut Removal
Lost or damaged locking wheel nut key? We remove the nut without damaging the alloy so the wheel can come off.
MOT
Book your annual MOT test with us. If tyres, brakes or lights need work first, we can sort it at the same visit.
Brake Pads Change
Squealing, grinding or a longer stopping distance? We check pads and discs and replace worn brake pads.
Air Con Re-Gas
Car air conditioning blowing warm? An AC re-gas restores cooling and helps demist the windscreen faster.
24/7 Mobile Tyre Service
Flat tyre at home, at work or at the roadside? Our mobile tyre fitters come to you, day or night.

Yes. S1 Tyres is an independent tyre specialist, not part of a national chain. That means we can supply premium, mid-range and budget brands and recommend what suits your car and budget rather than pushing one supplier.
How many branches does S1 Tyres have?

Do you fit tyres I have bought elsewhere?
Call the branch and ask. We normally supply and fit, but the team will tell you what they can do with tyres you already have, and will always check the tyre is legal and safe before fitting it.
How do you decide whether I need a new tyre?
We check tread depth, sidewall condition, the age of the tyre and how it has worn. If a tyre can be safely repaired rather than replaced, we will say so. If it is unsafe, we will show you why before recommending a replacement.
Are your part-worn tyres legal?
Part-worn tyres sold in the UK must have at least 2mm of tread across the full width, no bulges or exposed cords, and must be marked PART-WORN. Ask to see the tyre and its tread depth before it goes on your car.
What payment methods do you accept?
The branches take cash and card payments in pounds sterling. If you need a receipt or an invoice for a company vehicle, ask when you pay.
Do you work on vans, taxis and company vehicles?
Yes. All three branches fit reinforced commercial tyres for vans, our Dagenham branch advertises offers for cab drivers and trade customers, and the 24/7 mobile tyre service is used by drivers and small fleets who cannot afford downtime.
