Part-Worn (Used) Tyres
Quality part-worn tyres for drivers on a budget. UK law requires at least 2mm of tread and a PART-WORN mark on every one.
Wheel Balancing
Stops the steering-wheel shake you feel at motorway speed and helps tyres wear evenly. Done as standard with every tyre we fit.
Wheel Alignment
Corrects tracking that has been knocked out by potholes or kerbs, so the car drives straight and tyres don't wear on one edge.
Locking Wheel Nut Removal
Lost or damaged locking wheel nut key? We remove the nut without damaging the alloy so the wheel can come off.

Tyre work beyond fitting
- Puncture repairs. Where a puncture is in the repairable central area of the tread and the tyre is otherwise sound, a repair is cheaper than a new tyre.
- TPMS service. Tyre pressure monitoring sensors and valves checked, reset or replaced when the dashboard TPMS light stays on.
- Tyre pressure & tread checks. A free visual check of tread depth, pressures and sidewall condition before a long trip or an MOT.
- Valve replacement. New valves fitted with new tyres so slow pressure loss doesn't undo the job.

- The standard fit for most UK cars, with grip and low noise in mild and warm conditions.
- All-season tyres
- A practical choice for London driving: usable in cold, wet and light snow without swapping twice a year.
- Winter tyres
- Softer compound that keeps grip below about 7°C, worth it if you drive out of town through winter.
- Run-flat tyres
- Fitted to many BMW, MINI and Mercedes models. They must be replaced like for like unless the car is converted.
- 4x4 and SUV tyres
- Higher load ratings for heavier cars such as Qashqai, Tiguan, X5 and Range Rover.
- Van and commercial tyres
- Reinforced C-rated tyres for Transit, Vivaro, Sprinter and similar working vans.

- Electric cars are heavier and torquier, so they need the right load index and often a low-rolling-resistance tyre.

How much does tyre fitting cost?
Cost depends on tyre size, brand and whether you choose new or part-worn, so we quote per vehicle rather than advertising a single price. Call your nearest branch with the size from your sidewall, for example 205/55 R16 91V, for prices on the day.
How long do the main jobs take?
Fitting and balancing a pair of tyres usually takes well under an hour when the size is in stock. Wheel alignment checks and air con re-gas are typically short jobs too. Call ahead so the branch can give you a realistic time.
Do I need an appointment?
You can call ahead or drop in. Calling first is better, because the branch can confirm your tyre size is in stock and suggest a quieter time.
Can a puncture be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. If the puncture is within the repairable central area of the tread and the tyre is otherwise sound, a repair costs far less than a new tyre. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely.
